Seated Tricep Extension

Make sure you’re seated firmly on the ball with your feet securely on the ground. Keep your back straight throughout this exercise. Start with a pair of dumbbells fully extended overhead. Your palms should be facing each other. Keeping your elbows as close to your ears as you can, begin lowering the dumbbells backwards until your forearms touch your biceps and you feel a nice stretch in your triceps. Hold for a split second and begin moving the dumbbells back to the starting position.

Lying Tricep Extension

You’ll start by lying down on the ball, with a dumbbell in each hand. The dumbbells should be extended above you as if you’ve just finished doing a bench press. Your palms should be facing each other. Begin lowering the dumbbells until they at at your forehead level. Keep your elbows pointed up towards the ceiling. Pause for a split second and slowly raise the dumbbells back to the starting position.
