For 2001, the Cadillac El Dorado is available in two trims, the El Dorado base model and the El Dorado Touring Coupe. The base model engine is a 4.6L, V8 with 275 horsepower. The Touring Coupe has the same engine but puts out 300 horsepower.

Standard equipment on the 2001 Cadillac El Dorado includes an AM/FM stereo with cassette, power windows, air conditioning, power door locks, leather seats, OnStar, an anti theft system, and fog lights.
