2001 Mercury Grand Marquis Review

Elvis Elvis
The Mercury Grand Marquis is a full size luxury car with great style and tradition.

For 2001, the Mercury Grand Marquis is available in two trims, the GS and the LS. The engine for both trims is a 4.6L, V8 with 220 horsepower.

Standard equipment on the 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis trims includes power windows, power door locks, cruise control, tilt steering, air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo with cassette, power driver’s seat, rear window defroster, and a theft deterrent system. The LS trim offers upgrades such as reading lamps (front and rear), keyless entry, and cloth upholstery. There is a Handling package upgrade, which includes 16″ spoke wheels, rear air suspension and stabilizer bar, and dual exhaust.

Safety features for both trims include dual airbags, and child safety locks. Traction control and ABS brakes are optional.
