Country Kitchen Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 oz. bag chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Add flour, soda and salt. Mix well. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 8-10 minutes.

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

  • 3/4 cup shortening
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 3 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and vanilla. Mix well. Add dry ingredients alternately with water. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop on greased cookie sheet by teaspoonfuls and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Don’t over bake.

He Man Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups butter or margarine
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 4 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips

Cream together sugars and margarine. Add eggs and the vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add oats, coconut, nuts and chocolate chips. Mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10 minutes.

Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

  • 1 pkg. caramels
  • 1/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix (dry)
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 12 oz. bag chocolate chips

Melt the caramels and 1/3 cup milk over a double boiler. Set aside. Combine cake mix, 1/2 cup milk, melted butter or margarine and nuts. Spread 1/2 of mixture into 9 x 13 inch greased and floured pan. Bake for 6 minutes 350 degree oven; remove from oven and spread chocolate chips, caramel mixture and 1/2 of cake batter over top. Bake for 18 minutes. Cool and refrigerate before cutting.
