Alpaca Marketing – Stand out from the crowd by creating a Buzz

Home business owners should use Alpaca marketing, livestock shows and pictures to market their Alpaca business and to make their home business stand out from the crowd. They should also use any creative marketing methods they can think of.

In order to succeed any business owner must find ways to differentiate themselves from their competitors. This is not an easy task and must be constantly worked at. The majority of business owners will say they do not like sales and are not salesmen.

However, in order to succeed an owner must sell themselves and their products. Customers must be convinced it is their best interest to do business with you and not someone else.

Customers do not want to be sold, they want to be helped. As you develop your Alpaca marketing plan keep this in mind and structure all of your marketing toward convincing your customer that you are the one with the solutions to their problems. By doing this they will have an open mind to your proposal.
Alpaca Marketing – Stand out from the crowd by creating a Buzz
The first problem to overcome is how to attract customers in the first place. This is where your Alpaca marketing plan becomes invaluable. Few home businesses have an unlimited marketing budget so we must get the biggest bang for our buck. ( One Alpaca owner told us her marketing budget is over $30,000 a year!) How do we get the most for our money? Join in on the biggest current fad, DO IT YOURSELF!

WEBSITE- One of the first things we noticed about the Alpaca industry is how much business is done over the internet. At first this caused us some concern because the only things we knew about developing a website is that it is complicated and expensive. Then we discovered a way to do it ourselves that is amazing easy and very inexpensive( actually cheap). It is the most exciting information we have to share! It is the way we developed this site with no previous experience! For the secret click here.

LOGO CREATION-In order to separate yourself from the crowd branding is necessary. Is Coca Cola that much better than all of the other colas or is it just a more widely recognized brand?

Come up with a logo and theme for your business and find a way to put it on everything you do.

LIVESTOCK SHOWS-During a typical year there are between six and ten major Alpaca livestock shows around the country. These shows enable breeders and farmers to enter their animals in competitions, to auction, to buy and to sell their products.

Go to as many of these shows as you can in order to make your farm brand familiar to the other farms. Hand out as many flyers and business cards as you can. There is no better way to let people know about what you have to offer than the face to face meetings these shows make possible

ALPACA PHOTOGRAPHS- Since most business is done via the internet, your customers will be looking at photographs of your Alpacas and any other product you have to offer. If your photographs are of poor quality, your customers will assume your animals and products are poor as well.

Don’t be “penny wise and pound foolish”. Invest in the very best photographic equipment you can. It will pay off in the long run.

In order to succeed, a business must concentrate on marketing. Define the image you want your company to project and do everything possible to broadcast that image.
