Baby Shower Foods – Side Dishes

Orange Jello Salad

1 3 oz. Pkg. Orange Jell-O
1 Can Pineapple Tidbits
1 Small Can Mandarine Oranges
1 Large Container Cottage Cheese
1 Large Cool Whip (thawed)

Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate.

Yummy Potatoes

20 ounces of frozen (thawed) hash browns (or 6 boiled potatoes, shredded or cubed)
½ C. chopped onions
1 Pint Sour Cream
1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 Can Cream of Celery Soup
1 C. Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Pepper to taste
¼ C. Melted Butter
1 C. Crushed Corn Flakes

Mix onions, sour cream, soups, cheese and pepper, then add the potatoes. Place all ingredients into a 9 x 13 casserole dish. Mix butter with corn flakes and sprinkle on top of the casserole. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45 min. to 1 hour.

Shar’s Pasta Salad

1 Package of Spiral Pasta or Spaghetti Noodles
1 Can Olives
½ to 1 head Cauliflower
Equal Amount of Broccoli
5 Tomatoes
1 Bunch of Green Onions
½ C. Parmesan Cheese (to taste)
Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing (to taste)

Cook noodles and rinse with cold water until completely cool. While the noodles are cooking cut up all the vegetables in a large bowl. Add the pasta, parmesan, dressing and toss together.
