Beat pollution with electric vehicles

Emissions from vehicles with internal combustion engines add to many of the problems with the environment we are facing today.

Beat pollution with electric vehicles

Acid rain, global warming and respiratory diseases associated with air pollution, are modern day problems that need urgent attention. Tons of carbon dioxide produced by gas fuelled vehicles is the main cause of the green house effect.

Electric vehicles produce around 97% less pollution than gasoline driven automobiles. They are easily recharged from the electricity supply that is already distributed to our homes and are therefore cheap to run.

Beat pollution with electric vehicles

There are some disadvantages to electric vehicles. The main one is the battery efficiency. Batteries tend to release energy slowly and this reduces the acceleration and top speed of the vehicle. Recharging usually takes a few hours and the range of the vehicle is limited to the state of the battery.

New Technology

With technology moving on at an astonishing rate, the world demands that these problems are solved to protect the environment for our children.

Even now some 2 wheel electric scooters and bicycles are able to reach speeds of 30-40 mph quite easily. Recharging times are reducing and the range of electric vehicles is increasing steadily as battery technology moves forward.

Electric motorized scooters and electric bicycles are more often used for short journeys of less than 20 miles, so it makes sense to leave the car at home for these trips and if the trend towards electric vehicles continues, it will undoubtedly ease the pressure on our environment and make our planet a better place to live for future generations.
