Brazilian Barbeque Marinade

This is a traditional recipe for BBQ meat. The recipe reflects a mixture of meat, but feel free to decide which meats you wish to cook!

Serves: 4

4 boneless chicken breasts, skinned and cubed
1 lb rump steak, cubed
8 oz chorizo sausage or equivalent
4 oz button mushrooms
1 green pepper, cubed
2 cloves garlic, crushed
3 floz lime juice
olive oil to coat the kebabs
½ tsp chilli powder

Brazilian Barbeque Marinade

For the chicken, place in a bowl with the garlic, chilli and lime juice. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours. Thread the chicken on to skewers, alternating with peppers. (If you are using wooden skewers they will need to be soaked for 30 min). Then thread the beef and chorizo on separate skewers, alternating with mushrooms. Brush the meat with oil and place on the BBQ for 10 min turning frequently. Remove all the meats from the skewers and place in a serving dish. Serve with a choice of salad.
