I recently had a similar problem in my apartment! I tried to be the “handy-man” and do it all myself and ended butchering the shades I had bought I ended up doing some research and found that some local companies are willing to give some advice, if you ask the right questions, and also found some relatively cheap customized options around me. Sometimes it’s better off having this taken care of by someone who knows what they are doing!
