How do I stay motivated?

We all have those days where we just can’t focus on your goals anymore. Maybe we are tired, depressed, drained or just feeling lazy. Don’t fret about it. So what? Do people have to be motivated and inspired all day, every day? No way! It would take a very optimistic, driven and extremely motivated person to do that. Most of us aren’t like that. We are positive people with dreams and desires. We are sometimes run by our emotions and unable or unwilling to let our minds take back that control. That’s fine as long as you don’t let it take complete control of your life.

Okay, so now we know it’s okay to have a bad day and lose sight of your goals. The most important thing to do is make sure you don’t let one bad day discourage you from accomplishing your dreams. If you look at someone who you consider successful and ask them how they got there, at some point they would say with persistence and hard work. If it was easy, everyone would have or do it.

Steps to get re-motivated?
So you have lost your motivation. Relax and take a break. Make sure you are not putting too much pressure on yourself. Don’t ask yourself for the impossible. Believe and remind yourself what motivated you in the beginning.

How do I stay motivated?

I have found the most helpful task I have given myself is to take a break when I’m overwhelmed or depressed and lost my daily motivation. When taking that break I just forget about things for a few hours, do an activity I enjoy and change my mood. Once I feel better I reflect and remind myself of my goals and why I want to get there. Suddenly I have got my motivation back.

Sometimes we just need a break and a change to relax and do something we enjoy. Once you feel better remind yourself of what you want. If you want it bad enough, you’ll get there.
