Ideas Are Better Than Caffeine

Getting good ideas makes us feel excited and energetic.

Take as long as you like with these. Often, your best ideas will come when you stick to it for a little while.

When I’m stuck I find that it helps to get up and pace around to get the blood flowing.

Here are some things you can brainstorm about:

  • What are possible solutions to my problem of (fill in a current problem you’re having)?
  • What are ways I can save money for my dream vacation?
  • What are the ways that I can fight my depression and be happier?
  • How can I be a better parent?
  • Where in my day might I have opportunities to induce manic thinking to improve my mood?
  • What are triggers for my depression and/or anxiety? How can I minimize my exposure to each one?
  • How can I improve my sex life?
  • What are things I can do when I want to get out of the house and be around other people?
  • How can I have more fun at my job?
  • What are some hobbies I would like to try?
