Indian Cuisine – Double Beans and Green Pea Curry

250g double bean seeds
250g Green Peas (Fresh)
1 tbsp dried cucumber seeds, ground
15 cashew nuts
2 tbsp coriander powder
1 ½ tsp red chilli powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
4 tbsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
Curry leaves for seasoning
1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
2 large onions, finely chopped
4 ripe tomatoes(ripe), finely chopped
Coriander leaves to garnish

Indian Cuisine   Double Beans and Green Pea Curry

Grind the cashew nuts along with chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder to a smooth paste adding a little water. Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds and curry leaves cook for a couple of minutes before adding the onions and tomato along with ginger garlic paste until the mixture forms a thick gravy. Now sauté the beans and peas in this mixture for 5 min before adding the now add the ground cashew nut mixtures and allow to cook for a few minutes. Add a little salt and add the necessary amount of water to make it to gravy consistency. Cover and cook till the beans and peas are cooked which should take approximately 25 min. When the beans are cooked, place in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.
