Music for all occasions, relaxing classical, jazz, instrumental, soundscapes and more

The diversity of music as an art form has changed considerably over the centuries.

From country to hard rock, or classical and easy listening, songs have been an integral part of rituals and ceremonies all over the world.

This unique art form has a varied and colorful past, and has undergone as many changes as the style of clothes we wear.

But remember the old expression, “the more things change, the more they stay the same.”

I guess it all began when prehistoric man began beating a homemade drum, but I guess we’ll never know that for sure.

Early recorded history followed certain lyrical trends down the centuries…Medieval, Baroque, Renaissance, Classical and the Romance period.

Modern day tunes have taken on a series of changes with the introducton of rock and roll in the mid twentieth century.

Today, classical hits from the masters such as Beethoven and Mozart are enjoying a renewed popularity.

Melodies from Ireland and Scotland are great for mood setting and make very relaxing listening pleasure.

I have a personal preference for classical and Celtic, but with the amount of diversity in music today, there is definitely something there to please everyone!
