How To Prepare Onion Tarts – For Your Baby Shower

Onion Tarts

12 Frozen tart shells – thawed
2 Large onions, chopped
3 Tbsp/50 ml Butter or margarine
3 Eggs
1 C/250 ml Sour cream
1/4 C/50 ml Milk
1 tsp Salt
1/4 tsp Pepper
1/2 C/125 ml Grated Parmesan cheese

Have tart shells ready. Sauté onions in butter until soft and clear. Beat eggs until frothy. Add sour cream, milk, salt and pepper. Beat to mix. Add onions. Stir. Pour into tart shells. Sprinkle cheese over top. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake on lowest shelf in 350 F (180 C) oven for about 30 minutes. Insert knife into center to see if it’s completely baked. Knife should come out clean. Serve immediately.
