Order of operations is used in solving problems correctly based on precedence.

It is very important to know what order to solve operations due to the fact that solving the equations or problems will be incorrect even if the arithmetic is correct without the appropriate order.

The acronym PEMDAS is what is used to remember the operations in correct order when trying to find the solving problems.

Here are the operations of each letter of PEMDAS listed below:

P – Parenthesis
E – Exponents
M – Multiplication
D – Division
A – Addition
S – Subtraction
