Our Homeschoolers go to a Chiropractor

Elvis Elvis

Our homeschoolers go to a chiropractor regularly. Chiropractic has been shown to have numerous benefits for children. Studies have shown chiropractic to be of benefit to children with everything from asthma to ADD. It is very well known that chiropractic care minimizes childhood ear infections as well.

Our chiropracter is not your typical “crunch-and-munch” chiropractor though. Our chiropractor, Dr. Dave, specializes in a light touch adjustment method. This is a very gentle process of adjusting one’s spine with very much the same benefits.

Dr. Dave uses small handheld tools to do his adjustments. The children (and the parents too!) relax face down while Dr. Dave gently taps and applies minimal pressure to manipulate our spines.

Zennin gets tons of energy from his adjustments. He used to be a tired child, maybe even a little fatigued. Now he bounds around the house like Tigger! Zennin will also continually ask when his next chiropractic appointment is, he likes it that much!

Quintin has noticed quite a few differences in his overall well-being since he began to see Dr. Dave. He is calmer, more able to focus (he has had issues with that!), sleeps better and doesn’t get sick as easily as he used too.

There have been many studies linking chiropractic care to improved educational outcomes. Children who recieve regular chiropractic adjustments score higher on standardized tests and receive higher grades. Chiropractic has also been shown to improve learning and mood disorders in children. It is easy when homeschoolers go to a chiropractor because there are no school schedules to schedule appointments around.

When your homeschoolers go to the chiropractor it doesn’t have to be expensive either. Many chiropractors have inexpensive treatment plans or discounts for children. Or if you’re like us, you can use your health insurance coverage for your children’s chiropractic visits.

We hope this inspires you to look into chiropractic care for your homeschoolers!
