Pigs in a Blanket is a great Hot Dog recipe that is easy to make and Perfect for Parties

This appetizer is a bit of an American staple. Simple and easy recipe to make, all is required is crescent roll and mini hot dogs. These are a bit more filling than most appetizers, so if all you plan on serving are appetizer and drinks at a party, this is the way to go. Grandma says that the “grandchildren always loved this”.

Pigs in a Blanket RecipeFor this recipe, you will need the following:

- 2 tbsp. butter
- 1 pkg. crescent rolls
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 tsp. mustard
- 24 cocktail franks
- 1 tbsp caraway seed

Spread crescent dough with butter and mustard and cut each crescent into 6 strips. Place franks on each strip and roll up. Brush beaten egg yolk (with 1 tbsp water in yolk) over top of dough and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 10-12 minutes. Serve with plain or with a dip of yoru choice.
