Poker Tip – Paying Attention

Paying attention to your opponents when you ARE NOT involved in the hand can be extremely valuable. It can be very easy to let your mind wander, or to do things like browse the internet if you are playing online after you’ve folded. Don’t do this!

You will learn valuable information from your opponents by paying attention, especially on hands that go to showdown. Are they overly aggressive? Are they too passive? Do they sometimes like to make crazy plays? Are they incredibly straight forward? All of these things can be learned by simply paying attention. So watch your opponents, take notes, and then – take their money!
