Quality Custom Built Desktop Computers

Don’t pay extra to have your custom built desktop computer

Custom Built Desktop Computers are usually geared toward computer gamers. They tend to be more expensive and have a lot more power and flexibility than the novice user needs.

Quality Custom Built Desktop Computers

However if this is what you are looking for then keep reading, otherwise check out the Low Cost Desktop Computers or Budget Desktop Computers section. This is my favourite type of computer.

My hobby is computer gaming. If your are going to get a Custom Built Desktop Computer you have three options:

  • Buy a pre-built brand name computer
  • Have one built for you with hardware that you pick
  • Build it yourself

Now that you know your options lets talk about each one in a little more detail.

OPTION 1: Buy a pre-built brand name computer

This will be your most expensive option. Expect to pay 100′s of dollars more for this computer than you would for option 2 or 3. Not only that but you will be limited on the hardware that your computer will have. On the up side this will also be your fastest and most convienent option of the three.

I would only recomend this option in two cases. The first is, if you have very limited computer knowledge and have neither the time nor desire to learn what you need to know. And the second is if you were in the market for Low Cost or Budget Desktop Computer. There usually is not a whole lot of room to save on the lower priced computers.

OPTION 2: Have one built for you with hardware that you pick

This will cost you a little more than building it yourself but will be far less expensive than buying a pre-built brand name computer. Also you will have alot more flexability on the hardware that you choose. This is the way to go if you know what hardware you want and are not quite up to building your own custom built desktop computers. This would be a good option when your in the market for a desktop gaming computer or a profesional desktop computer.

OPTION 3: Build it yourself

This option can be very intimidating to most people, but it shouldn’t be. It isn’t nearly as hard to do as it sounds. This option will allow you the greatest flexability when choosing your parts and will also be the least expensive way to go. This option is best when in the market for a more expensive computer, such as a gaming or profesional desktop computer. I would highly recommend you looking into this option as it can be fairly rewarding and save you quite a bit of money.

Now that you know your options you have to decide which one is right for you. If you don’t know what a motherboard or hard drive is then you might want to stick with buying a pre-built brand name computer. But you should do a little research on hardware so that you know what you are getting.
