There is a range of food along with accommodation available onsite, and these guys really no how to make a mountain fun.

Mt Hutt

A New Zealand mountain, Hutt is located inside the eastern rim of the southern alps. It provides some of the deepest and lightest powder in Australasia. This mountain provides terrain for every type of rider, beginner to expert, its all there waiting for you. Facilities are available for all the family with a special children’s center which has been specially designed. Snowmaking starts early May, ensuring great snow for the whole season. Just an hours drive from Christchurch and incredibly close to Methven.

Mt Hutt was one of the first mountains I ever attempted to ski, and the after many years of disliking skiing I took to snowboarding, which was alot of fun, and what a great moutain to start on.

A New Zealand mountain, full of character, great people and great times. Located in mid Canturbury just over an hours drive from Christchuch. This is a great mountain for everyone one, beginners to advanced, kids to parents to grandparents. With rental onsite, along with lessons available to make you a pro in no time. Good accommodation available at the base of the mountain in Methven. And I have known a few parties in this town after a fun day at the mountain to be most fun.
