Russian Cuisine – Liulia Kebabs Recipe

These kebabs are really easy to make and can be cooked on the BBQ or under the grill.

Serves: 4

4 lb lean minced lamb
4 tbsp fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
2 tsp dried mint leaves
1 tsp salt
1 onion, very finely chopped
½ tsp freshly milled black pepper
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1 tsp chilli flakes

Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and with your hands mix the ingredients together. Form the mixture into sausage shapes about 3 “long and then form around wooden or metal skewers. (If you are using wooden skewers don’t forget to soak them for at least 30 min in water first). Place under a hot grill, or on a BBQ for 12 – 15 min turning occasionally.
