Swiss Cuisine – Cheese Fondue Recipe

This is a great recipe to share with friends..

Serves: 6

Ingredients:
Fondue:
450 ml dry white wine
2 cloves of garlic, halved
750 g gruyere cheese, rind removed and cut into cubes
1 ½ tsp corn flour

To dip!
Bread in cubes – such as ciabbata
New potatoes cubed
Veggies of your choice
Cubed cooked meats

Method:
Place the wine and garlic in a saucepan and cook over a high heat until it has reduced by half. Pour into a fondue pot and add the cheese over a low heat, stirring all the time. Mix the corn flour with a little water and add to the cheese mixture, and continue to stir for a 2-3 min. Keep warm until your guests arrive! Serve with the dipping ingredients.
