Swiss Cuisine – Chocolate Fondue Recipe

This is a yummy way to end a meal! You can use all sorts of exotic fruits or just go for loads of one fruit such as strawberries.

Difficulty rating: Easy

Serves: 6

Ingredients:
7 oz plain chocolate, broken into small chunks
7 fl oz whipping cream
2 tbsp brandy (optional)
1 tbsp lemon juice

Fruits such as:
2 Banana, cut into thick chunks
12 oz Strawberries, hulled
12 oz Grapes, picked from the vine
12 oz pineapple, cut into chunks

Method:
Cover the fruit with the lemon juice to reduce the risk of the fruit browning. Place the chocolate and cream in a small pan over a low heat stirring continuously. Do this for about 4-5 min until the chocolate has thoroughly melted. Add the brandy (if using). Transfer the chocolate and cream mixture into a fondue pot to keep warm. Serve at the table with the prepared fruit.
