UK Cuisine – Celeriac Mash Recipe

Celeriac is a much underrated vegetable. It has a slight taste of aniseed and parsley. This recipe is a great accompaniment to grilled meats.

Serves: 4

Ingredients:
1 celeriac, peeled and cubed
pinch of nutmeg
1 oz butter

Method:
Place the celeriac in a pan of boiling water and cook for a 20 – 25 min until tender. Drain, add the nutmeg and butter and mash with a potato masher. Serve immediately.
