What about a Camp Shower?

Camping showers are a fantastic piece of equipment to take with you on any long trip. Once you try out a portable shower you’ll wonder how you ever got along without one.

When you’ve been camping outside for more than a couple of days, you’re going to start to feel dirty. Sure, you can always go for a dip in a river or lake, but we all know it’s not the same as a shower.

Many campsites have facilities that include full bathrooms, some even with heated water. That’s great if your at one, but what if you’re out in the woods.

That’s where your very own camping shower comes in.

What about a Camp Shower?

There are a lot of different types to buy and they are not all created equal. The price can vary from cheap to very expensive. Some are harder to assemble and others are not as durable. As good as they are, they will not replace the shower you have at home. But after all, you are in the great outdoors and after a few days these products will feel great.

Depending on what kind of trip you’re taking, some of these products may be more practical than others.

Propane gas showers as well as battery-operated ones are very durable. They will have decent water pressure and can heat up the water quickly. These units require a lot of gear and would not be practical if you are hiking to the site.

A rather new item I’ve seen is the Zodi Battery-Powered Shower. It uses a battery powered ( 4 D batteries ) pump and looks very compact.
