Hours spent in front of the TV, little activity or plain laziness leads to a decrease in muscle strength and hence, mobility.

My own father would spend hours in front of the TV. He has done this for years. He is now at the point where he needs help to walk more than 10 feet. His joint flexibility is poor and he has very little mobility.

It is sad to see him lose his motivation. He does not have a good quality of life.
