Why visit the Grand Canyon?

The Grand Canyon, an exceptionally beautiful and deep canyon which is located in northwest Arizona. I have visited this majestic park three times and still I’m in awe of the vast beauty and colors that this national park provides.

It is a breath-taking site, with tall buttes, mesas, and valleys within its floor. The This majestic National Park, which receives about five million visitors a year is of course a major tourist attraction for the state.

This natural wonder is over 270 miles long, and nearly 18 miles wide in some places, and more than a mile deep in certain locations. The national park is home to many animals, mule deer, bighorn sheep, bobcats, and coyotes are just a few of them.

The park has guided bus tours and a vistor’s center that provides a featured movie of the canyon that shows some beautiful sites that are not accessible to humans. Also gift shops, restaurants, and motels abound for your convenience.
